WASP Digital in partnership with ONIX Data Center provides the only Tier IV data center in Sub-Sahara Africa located in Accra, Ghana. We provide these services:

Colocation

We offer a variety of options to meet your needs for colocation. Our World Class Tier IV custom built data centre currently houses 170 racks in module one. Future modules (starting in late 2021) will include private cages, IT rooms, or perhaps a full module that may be customized to the needs of larger clients.

The Uptime Institute’s Tier 4 certified infrastructure offers redundancy for power, cooling, connection, and fire suppression. Multi-layer access control, CCTV, BMS, and DCIM with remote monitoring are all part of our technical solution.

Connectivity Services

Multiple Tier 1 carriers and ISPs with fully redundant links service our carrier and vendor neutral data center. Onix focuses on providing the widest range of connectivity providers and solutions and customers can choose from a range of connectivity providers.

Cross connects enable users to establish direct connections (one to one) or group connections (one to many) through an on-site exchange’s distributed peering switch (IXP).

The Accra DC will develop into a regional hub, bringing down the price of content distribution and internet access in Ghana and the rest of the region.

Peering inside the DC reduces latency, lowers costs by removing extra hops, and increases robustness by allowing numerous redundant connections between NSPs and clients.

Office Space

Our data center is located 20 km from Accra.  We constructed offices in the data center to provide your workers the flexibility they need to work while ensuring that they are making the best use of their time.

The data center’s offices total more than 200m2, and they are furnished with contemporary desks, chairs, and lockable cabinets. There is no requirement for a long-term commitment while renting. We want your data experience to be as effective and enjoyable as we can.
